Remove Sink StopperPull the sink stopper gently straight up and out of your bathroom sink drain. You may need to turn the stopper gently counter-clockwise to release it. If the stopper does not come out easily, do not exert force or you may damage the stopper. Look at the pipe directly below your sink and locate a round nut on the side of the pipe just below the drain. Loosen this nut with your fingers until you can remove the sink stopper from the drain. Use an adjustable wrench to loosen the nut if you cannot move it with your fingers.Clean Sink StopperRemove the hair and other gunk built up on your sink stopper and throw them away in your garbage can.
