A. -Enable Zero-Conf (local probe) mode on QBox -Make sure PC or laptop is set to DHCP -Plug up crossover cable (or straight-thru with crossover adaptor) -Restart QBox and after reboot note IP address (should start with 169.254.x.x) and Hostname -Add this IP address into the PC hosts file along with the Hostname apppended with .local (eg. QBox0084.local). Use the localhost line in the hosts file as a guide to formatting. -In QMaster 1.5 when defining your QBox use the Hostname.local data rather than the IP address. -You should now be able to connect and prompt.
