Before setting up an Interactive Brokers account connection, you must first install i-GEN AUTO TRADER V1.0. Note: You must be using the current version of Interactive Brokers TWS. Please follow the following instructions: 1. Start Interactive Brokers TWS (Trader Workstation) 2. Select the following options: “Configure > API > All API Settings…” 3. Enable the following options in the dialog window that appears: • Enable ActiveX and Socket Clients • Download open orders on connection • Include FX positions when sending portfolio • Send status updates… • Enter the value “7496” into the Socket port field 4.
