With earlier versions of PowerPoint, show the “Control” toolbox by clicking on “View,” “Toolbars” and “Control Toolbox.” Click on the “More Controls” icon on the toolbox, and then click “Windows Media Player.” In PowerPoint 2007, you just have to click on the “Insert” tab and then the drop-down arrow under “Movie.” Choose “Movie from File.”Insert the DVD files in PowerPointClick and drag the mouse button to draw the media control on the PowerPoint slide. Right-click on the control and then click “Properties.” Next to the “Custom” field, click the “…” button. Select the “General” tab and then click “Browse.” Navigate to your DVD-ROM drive to select the video file from the DVD in the “Video_TS” folder.
