How do I create a temporal table in Chronus?
There are two types of temporal tables supported by Chronus: event tables and state tables. Event tables hold instant timestamps, and state tables hold interval timestamps. For example, laboratory values are typically stored in event tables, while information about drug regimens can be held in state tables, because drug treatments generally extend over time. A temporal table is created in a similar way to a normal relational table. The TEMPORAL keyword is used to indicate that the command is a temporal create and the column list is followed by a valid clause specifying if the table is a state or event table. An optional granularity may also be provided.
