There are two methods of creating animation .gif files with the VAS. One method is to use the VASs capture utility. Once you have tested all of the animations in the Trackview as well as in the VAS document window, you can click the Build | Capture menu to open the Capture Dialogue Box. This dialog box provides two options for capturing animated files: AVI or GIF. To capture an animation as a .gif file, select the GIF tab and then choose a file where the animated .gif will be saved. All animations in the currently active document window will be captured into the animated .gif file. Essentially the same process can be used to capture an animation as an .avi file. The second method is to use the “Animation GIF Modifier” command in the Modifier Panel. This method is used to capture the animation of a selected object in the document window.
