Well first things first, I am sorry for your loss and you should remember that you are never alone. Secondly – You have made a big step in the ‘dealing with it’ process because you have admitted to yourself that you are hurt and now because you do not have it bottled up, you can deal with it. You need to remember that what happened to your mother did not happen because of the actions that you took. Focusing on your marriage is a respectful thing to do for you, your partner and your child/children. Although your mother had a problem, it was her problem and there is a point when you have to limit the help that you can give. So you should harbor no guilt in this fact as protecting your family is the most basic of maternal emotions. Talk to people. To your family if you can, to friends if that is easier or if you can then talk to a professional. There is no shame in that and they will help you to overcome this.
