How do I dispose of narcotic drugs?
The answer I have been given in the past about disposing of drugs, narcotic or otherwise, is to mix them with something very foul and throw them away discretely. Something like used kitty litter has been suggested by many pharmacists. Pharmacies can not take the drugs back because of FDA and DEA regs, so you will not be able to return them anywhere. If you can find some used cat litter, mix them in that, put them in the litter disposal bag, and throw them away, that is always a good option. I have even been told that used coffee grounds are good. You can crush them up too if you would like and then it would be hard for anyone to tell what they are. You can also dissolve them. Oxycontin is harder to do this with than any other narcotic because they are coated. But you can crush them up, place them in vinegar, and then poor them out in the desert, woods, whatever.
