How do I Enter Insulated Basement Walls in REScheck?
Any wall of a heated basement with an average depth 50% or more below grade should be entered using the Basement tab in the Envelope folder to create a basement component. Basement wall dimensions are entered into a basement wall diagram (shown to the left) to help you describe your project accurately. REScheck assumes (as indicated in the diagram to the left) that insulation is applied from the top of the basement wall.
