If a wolf gets you on the ground it is going to finish you off. Even a full grown man would not be able to protect his neck. Take a serious look at a moose neck – it’s thick like a human leg and 3x the amount of muscle covering it. On the big up side – wolves really do not mess with people. You have to have the worst luck in the world – like that lady last month in Alaska…… If escape is not an option – you need to keep moving. Do not run. Walk. Walk with a purpose and not too fast. Do not make eye contact. You stop – they will surround and attack just like they learned from their parents. Moving at least keeps you alive and the game in play. If you choose to climb a tree – better pick one your really like that will hold you – you could be up there until the next morning. What should you do? First –
