How do i figure out my computer screen size in pixels?

You could be asking one of three different questions: 1) How can I figure out how many pixels are currently being displayed on my screen? 2) How can I figure out how many pixels my LCD display has natively? 3) How can I figure out how many pixels my CRT display can display, maximum and ideal? The answer are: 1) It depends upon your operating system and monitor. For XP, right click on a blank spot on your desktop, click ‘Properties’, then ‘Settings’. Look at the ‘Screen Resolution’ field. 2) You can check the manufacturer’s specifications. Also, you can pull up the Screen Resolution field in XP (as per 1). The native resolution is usually the maximum value you can drag the slider to. 3) You can usually tell as in 2. But to tell the ideal settings, you pretty much have to use trial and error. Manufacturers generally list the maximum supported, which may look blurry and be useless. For most CRT’s, the best refresh rate to use is one step below the maximum supported.
