How do I find the ss numbers for an rs number?
Go to the dbSNP home page, and enter your rs number (in this example I will use rs3751143) in the text box located in the “Search by ID on all Assemblies” section located just below the announcement section near the top of the page, and select “Reference cluster ID(rs#)” (this should be the default setting) from the drop down menu to the right of the text box where you entered rs3751143. Click the “Search” button, and you will get a refSNP cluster report for that rs number. Scroll down the cluster report until you get to the submitter records section, where you will find all the ss numbersfor this rs number.
