How do I get a recommendation from an active duty Staff Judge Advocate?
After you have electronically submitted your application materials, you will work through HQ USAF/JAR to schedule an interview with an active duty Staff Judge Advocate (SJA) at the nearest base legal office. The SJA will make a recommendation memorandum based on your application materials and the interview. The SJA will submit their recommendation directly to HQ USAF/JAR, where it will be married up with your application materials and presented to The Judge Advocate General for action.
