How do I get chewing gum off of clothing?
Freeze it again and gently scrape off as much as you can with a dull object like a spoon. When you have removed as much as you can, then use Goo-Gone on the underside of the pants where the gum is located to let it penetrate beneath the gum. Let it sit a few minutes to do its work. Then gently pick at or lift the remainder with a dull edged object such as a spoon or your fingernails. Repeat as often as needed. When it gets down to a thin film, soak again with Goo-Gone and pick at it with your fingers and a paper towel. When all evidence of gum is gone, pre-treat the Goo-Gone spot by rinsing it well and spotting it with your normal det ergent. Launder immediately.
