How do i get my dog to go in its dog house?
Good luck. My dogs never did use the dog house I bought. If your dog was cold enough, it would go into the dog house. To encourage your dog to use the dog house, put a small rug in it. Then put a doggie bed, and one of your t-shirts with your scent on it (not freshly washed but one you’ve just worn). Put a doggie biscuit on the dog bed, and make sure he sees you do it. When he goes in to get the biscuit, sit down in front of the dog house so he’s discouraged from trying to leave and when he lies down to eat the biscuit, tell him what a good dog he is. This will tell him you want him to use the dog house. The rest is up to him. Keep feeding him a small treat each day in his dog house to keep letting him know you want him to use the dog house.
