If it is on the lawn that is because the soil is too acid. First rake away whatever you can and then sprinkle lime over it. That will cut the acidity and make the conditions better for grass and worse for moss. Don't use Clorox for moss on the grass - it will kill the grass. Clorox is fine for moss on the steps and walls though.  more
