How do I get the bracts (leaves) of my poinsettia to turn red again?

Poinsettia’s turn red due to so many hours of uninterrupted darkness. That is why they turn red around Christmas because the night is getting longer. Greenhouses force them into bloom by covering them with a shade cloth so they don’t get any light. Find a dark area or something to cover your plant. In the evening put it in darkness and let it be in the darkness for 12 hours. It must be UNINTERRUPTED darkness. If it gets a flash of light half way through it just canceled all the darkness it accumulated. It will take several weeks, but that is how the pros get their’s to turn red.
