How do I get to Sayulita from the Puerto Vallarta airport?
You can rent a car or take the bus or taxi from Puerto Vallarta. It’s a 30 minute drive north of the airport on Highway 200 towards Tepic and Compostela. The Puerto Vallarta airport taxis will take you to Sayulita for $40-$60 USD, depending on your negotiating skills. You might get a better price across the street from the airport- take the pedestrian overpass and try your negotiating skills. Be sure to agree on the price in advance. The drivers will know how to get to Sayulita, but have your directions handy so you can direct them to Casa de Ensueño. You can also catch the bus across the street from the airport. The fare is about $2, but you need to pay in pesos. Take the bus that has “Sayulita” painted on the front window in white paint. The bus stops at the bridge before entering the town, and there are local taxis that can drive you from there. There are several car rental agencies at the airport.
