How do I go about becoming an English teacher with a law degree?
To do a PGCE or GTP to become an English teacher you need an English degree. However, you could do a Primary School PGCE with a Law degree, get experience in teaching English and then apply for jobs in middle schools teaching English to children aged 7-13. That would probably then open pathways to teaching at secondary level.
