How do I go about finding a job teaching skiing or snowboarding in Japan?

Unfortunately there is no simple or set way to go about doing this. Many people get a job through luck, or from knowing someone, or from just sending out as many resumes as possible. Many resorts do not employ (or have not until now) foreign workers. The best chances are the bigger, more famous resorts. It is a definite advantage to be able to speak Japanese, and have some kind of skiing or snowboarding qualifications.
