How do I go about reserving the festival grounds or an outdoor facility for a pubic or private event?
Please consider renting Freedom Hill County Park for any type of function. We host many festivals for ethnic organizations or churches, vehicle or equipment shows, company picnics, corporate seminars, scout day camps, head start registration, graduation parties and more. Almost any kind of event can be held at our facility. All reservation requests for Public Events must be in writing and submitted to the Parks Administrator – Anthony Casasanta, after December 1 of the current year for the following year. Written requests should be addressed to Macomb County Parks and Recreation Commission and include the type of event, the history of the sponsoring group, an estimate of how many park visitors will be expected, an advertising plan for the event, whether alcohol will be consumed and distributed and if it is for a non-profit organization.
