How do I hook up a dvd player and rf modulator to an older NTSC TV with a dtv converter box?

If your DVD player doest have coaxial RF input, your DVD player is likely to have a tv tuner, and most likely your DVD player also is a DVD recorder since it has A/V INPUTs. Althouth, the tuner might just be an analog tuner. Check your DVD player manual to clarify this. If what I speculated above is correct, then you can hook up the incoming coaxial tv cable into the converter, and from the converter's RF output to your dvd machine's RF input, then from the DVD player's coaxial output to your TV's RF jack. When you watch TV, turn off the DVD player to let the tv signal from the converter pass through. The alternative is, or if my assumption is wrong, you can buy a coaxial tv cable 2-to-1 input selector, sort of a A/B switch, with two inputs, one output and a switch in the middle.
