How do I hook up my PS3 to a Samsung HT-BD7200 home theater system?

0

I’m trying to hook up my PS3 with a Samsung HT-BD7200 2.1 home theater system to my Sharp LC-32D40U TV. The Samsung theater has 1 HDMI out, 1 external digital optical input, 1 set of component outs, 1 set of aux. in jacks, and 1 video out jack. The Sharp TV has 2 HDMI outs, 2 sets of component inputs, 1 coaxial digital audio out, 1 audio out, 2 composite inputs, and 2 s-video inputs. The immediate configuration that comes to mind is hooking up my PS3 and home theater to my TV with HDMIs and then hooking up my PS3 to the home theater with a digital optical cable. I’m not sure, but I believe this is the only way to do it. Is there a better way? Please and thank you.
