To import a CSV file that you exported from your AdWords account, follow these steps: • Open the CSV file. • Delete the rows above the column headers, which contain account information that AdWords Editor won’t import. • Edit any items in the CSV file that you want to change in AdWords Editor. The new AdWords interface uses the status “Enabled” where AdWords Editor uses “Active.” Since AdWords Editor currently doesn’t read “Enabled” as a legitimate status: • If you change an item’s status, be sure to use “Active” instead of “Enabled.” (The other statuses, such as “Paused” and “Deleted,” are the same in AdWords and AdWords Editor.) • If you’re not changing an item’s status, note that “Enabled” items import successfully, but they get a warning splat because the status is unreadable by AdWords Editor. • Save the file. • In AdWords Editor, select File > Import CSV.
