How do I install Curved Compasso onto a flat USG Drywall Suspension System?
Special steps for applying COMPSSO to drywall cailings • Install the USG Drywall Suspension System per manufacturer’s recommendations and architectural plans. The grid must extend beyond the planned perimeter of the Compasso Suspension Trim. • Examine the reflected ceiling layout and plan the layout of the Compasso Trim on the drywall grid. • Clamp the Compasso Trim to the bottom of the drywall grid in the desired pattern. • Splice sections together with the 4-inch temporary splice plates provided. • Assemble the Compasso trim, arranging the trim into smooth curves. Adjust the clamps as you go and be sure to check the square of the grid. • Once the Compasso segments are in place and the grid is square, mark the face of each tee where it intersects the Compasso trim. Also, mark the back side of the Compasso Trim where the tee intersects the Compasso Trim.
