How do I install Warcraft 2: Tides of Darkness on Vista using DOSbox?
I’m tring to install Warcraft 2 on my computer using DOSbox. I downloaded DOSbox without a problem, but I can’t figure out how to install Warcraft 2 using DOSbox. Can someone give me the commands I need to install it? First of all, create a folder called DOSGames (or whatever you’d like to call it) on your C drive or whatever hard drive it is. Then, startup DOSBox and type in mount c, your hard drive letter, and then the directory. For example: mount c c:dosgames If you have Warcraft 2 on your floppy disk, type in mount a a: -t floppy. Or if you have it on a CD, type in mount d d: -t cdrom. You’ll have to switch to the drive in order to install the game on your system. For example: For the floppy drive, type in a: For the CD Drive, type in d: Then, follow the instructions for to install your game. Of course, you’ll have to use DOSBox to play the game.
