Cats also don’t like citrus, so chopped citrus peel scattered over the area might help. If it’s an established behavior, it will be harder at first because you have to break the behavior pattern. You could also consider rigging one of those motion sensor squirters. Use it for a period of weeks to break the pattern, then periodically if the cats some back. I’ve seen these at garden centers.
