How do I know if a group allows COB or if there are special conditions, such as a carve out plan?
COB information is displayed on the Benefit Details page. To view benefit information, click on View Benefits next to the patient whose benefits you want to see. You will see real-time benefit payment levels, maximums used to date, contract year, deductible information, waiting periods, routine time limitations, COB information and orthodontic benefits. In addition, you can see if the patient is eligible for an oral exam, prophylaxis, bitewings and full mouth radiographs.
