How do I know when a (muscovy) duck is about to lay her clutch of eggs?
Well the is 2 possible answers to this questions Muscovy ducks I have found are very sneaky at laying eggs unlike most other ducks I have found they will lay in hedges pots under bbq even in green house in that respect they are very if she is laying a clutch of eggs you will find she dissaper one night and she is prob sitting in hedge and took me ages to find few of mine but they key way to spot if she is about to sit on eggs is look at there feathers they if she is riping them out and laying them in circle most likely means there making nest so has got eggs some where but another thing I find is my ducks do stop laying and then come back in to laying 2 weeks later
