How do I login to HathiTrust? What additional access does logging in provide?
Users can login to HathiTrust by clicking the login button in the top right corner of HathiTrust application pages such as the Collection Builder. For members at HathiTrust partner institutions, logging in provides the ability to download full-PDFs of volumes that are in the public domain. It also facilitates access to the Collection Builder because members are able to gain access through their existing institutional login. Read more about authentication in HathiTrust. Users that are not members are able to create permanent collections in Collection Builder using a University of Michigan “friend” account, but access to full PDF public domain volumes is not available.
