Good question. It’s tricky. (You do mean a two column layout with CSS, not a Column Layout with CSS 2 rather than CSS 3, right?) I have put together a whole web page for you. When I play around with css floats and so on I always put in background-color for each div so that I can see exactly where it ends up. Just remember when you change any padding/margins/borders that you need to get the difference by making something else shorter. Here is some HTML & CSS
