I guess I’ll have to tell you both. How to make up your own curriculum from scratch: 1. Find a syllabus, or list of what children usually learn in each grade. World Book Encyclopedia has one. (Don’t get it from the public school.) You don’t have to follow the syllabus exactly, it is just a guide. 2. Check the grades below eighth for topics you may not have covered yet. Plan a short study of each of those things. Ex: You might need to read a book about Columbus, or work on learning multiplication facts with flashcards. 3. Decide what you want to study.
