How do I make a model asteroid?

I think the best way would be to get find a pic of any asteroid that we have sent probes to as these pics will have a lot of detail. There are lots online such as the Ceres asteroid. Then get a good size piece of clay and form this piece of clay into an exact replica of the Ceres pics. If possible you may then want to ‘fire’ the clay to harden it but either way be sure to paint the newly formed asteroid the same color as the asteroid pic, keeping in mind that the asteroid pic will be in black and white. I would think a good color to paint the asteroid dark grey. Good luck!
