Take advice from a comic-book guy. Over the years, Superwoman has changed her costume so much between comics and comic artists that everything beyond wearing red and blue with a cape and a Superman logo is available to you. You can wear a red pencil skirt, you can wear a red fluffly skirt, you can wear blue shorts... it doesn't matter, she's been there done that. For an authentic Superwoman costume, buy a blue long sleeved leotard and a short red flowy skirt. You do not want to get Superwoman confused with Wonderwoman. Superwoman wears a red cape and red boots. Make sure to put the Superwoman "S" on your chest, just like superman.
You can wear any variation of this costume as long as it incorporates a blue long sleeved top and a red skirt with a cape and the "S." You will be recognized by the "S."
