How Do I Make My Boyfriend Understand That I Love Him And Not To Be Jealous?
The bottom line is that there is no way to make him understand. He may think you love him and all but he’s so insecure so he probably thinks he’s going to lose you if you were to find someone better so when he sees you talking to someone in a bar, that scares him. I had the same problem with one of my x gf’s. She was so jealous she got mad when I used Mrs.Buttersworth on my pancakes :o) You will never be happy with someone like this. The only option you have is to tell them your going to dump them if they don’t stop the behavior. Tell him it’s o.k. for him to feel jealous (even though you don’t understand why he is) but that he can’t let it manifest itself in controlling bahavior. Tell him you’ll be there for him when he feels jealous but he’s going to have to tell you when he starts feeling jealous so you can help reassure him.
