How do I make my laptops function keys work?

You should have an F8 key on startup, or F3, or one of those F keys to push on startup. When you first boot up, there should be a prompt (and you have to be quick) to push an F key to change setup. There will be a few screens you can arrow through and the screen will tell you how to toggle functions on and off. For instance, I do not like for my numlock to be on because I learned eons ago on a keyboard that wasn’t enhanced (with two sets of arrow keys). I fix each computer when I first start a job. Look for setup options when you boot up.
