While editing, monitor sound using the earphone jack in the front of the CPU tower, and monitor video in the Viewer window of your station’s desktop. To hear sound while editing make sure that Audio Playback is set to Built In Audio. While working with a lab DV deck (inputting or outputting), you can monitor video on the local monitor. The monitor shows whatever is playing or being recorded on the deck.
