How do I operate airless paint sprayers?

Never point the sprayer at yourself or anyone else. Before painting, take the time to read the instruction manual, especially if the sprayer is a rental or otherwise unfamiliar.Painting TechniqueHold the sprayer perpendicular to the wall, about 12 inches away. Apply the paint in a sweeping motion, moving the whole arm from side to side. Do not move the sprayer out of this perpendicular position. Turning the sprayer will result in an uneven coat.
