How do I place an ad on Google search as a top 3 sponsored link (above natural search) rather than on right?
The links on the right hand side as well as the sponsored links on top of the searches are coming from Google’s Adwords system, which is the advertisers side of Google Adsense. Since Google Adwords is working via a bidding system. Meaning that the more you bid per click, the higher your ad will rank as opposed to your competitors for the same keyword. The highest ranks per keyword will get the best ad-placements for that keyword. So if you want your ad to show up there, bid quite a lot per click.
