How do I prevent my fruit pies (apple and blueberry) from coming out watery after baking?

One of the best recipes for apple pie that doesnt come out watery is on the Pillsbury pie crust box that can be found in the refrigerated section (not frozen) of the supermarket. In fact, the pie crust is also a winner. With respect to berry pie, the trick is really to be sure that the fruit is thoroly drained – then you can add instant tapioca or flour like the recipe on the piecrust box – I use Wondra flour and you dont even know there is flour in the recipe, and it thickens without using more than 2 tablespoons. Good luck!
