How do I program a delayed start in the pharmacy before sending the pump to the patients home?
Program the delayed start in the pharmacy then install an administration set and press the run key to actuate delay start. Pause the pump and then turn it off. When the user turns the pump on in the home, select the resume feature, then press “RUN” and the delay start with KVO (if programmed) will infuse until time for their therapy to start dosing (see also the “Clinician Quick Guide to Delayed Start Procedures”).
