How Do I Put Night Sights On My Sig 232?
The Sig Sauer P232 is the smallest handgun made by Sig Sauer; it fires a .380 ACP round. The weapon magazine holds seven rounds and comes equipped with an adjustable rear sight and a fixed front-sight-blade. The P232 can also be purchased with SigLite night-sights pre-installed, or you can change out the rear sight and install the SigLite night-sight yourself. In order to change out the sight, you’ll need to have a few common gunsmith tools. Unload the P232 completely. Remove the magazine and pull the charging handle to the rear to visually inspect the chamber and ensure no ammunition is present. Place the P232 in a padded gun vise and lock it down. Remove the rear-sight adjustment screw with a plastic-tipped screwdriver. Hold the plastic drift or dowel against the right side of the rear sight.
