How do I qualify for the 500-hour DY LOAY Teacher Training?
To apply for the 500 hour DY LOAY TT, one must have completed a 200 hour DY LOAY TT program or a Yoga Alliance approved 200 hour certification that is recognized by Dharma Yoga. If you are an experienced teacher in yoga, and or have studied at a high level over a number of years, but have not taken a 200 level certification, it is possible to be admitted to the 500 hour DY LOAY TT. In this case please be aware that you will not receive accreditation by Yoga Alliance until you additionally complete an approved 200 hour certification. Some of our regular students complete our 200 hour training at a later date in order to be able to get full accreditation for the 500 hour program. It is recommended that one has at least 100 hours of hands on teaching experience when applying for the 500 hour training.
