Dividends can be added to Transaction portfolios created on Morningstar.com. There are two different kinds of portfolios that can be built on the site: “WatchList” portfolios and “Transaction” portfolios. Watch List Portfolios can be built by simply assigning the individual stocks, funds, bonds or cash you to wish track without requiring any additional information. Transaction portfolios allow more details to be added to the portfolio, allowing for greater historical tracking and analysis. You can only add reinvested dividends to Transaction portfolios.
