How do i recover my toshiba computer with NTLDR missing?

Oh boy, now there’s a mess. It is easy to add the NTLDR file back to your system, but I’m afraid that it might be a bit too late for that after you’ve deleted so much stuff. What I recommend now is that you boot to the Vista DVD and reinstall. When you get to the part of deleting the partitions, just delete the XP and Vista partitions. Then create one big one where they both were. Don’t touch your Photo or Music partitions. They will be okay. Then reinstall Vista on the new partition. There are ways to have a dual boot configuration with XP and Vista, but the BCD has to be edited in Vista so that they both can be used and the NTLDR of XP doesn’t get in the way (I did it for my XPS so that I could still play an XP game that wouldn’t play in Vista). Good Luck!
