How do I reduce the amount of static electricity in my hair?

Always using condition helps, also a little hair spray. The only way to completely get rid of it however is putting moisture into your air. It’s the dry heat that puts the static in your hair. I have gas heat in my house and every winter I get static in my hair & in my sheets/blankets. My nose even drys out and actually hurts. Well this winter I got a cool mist humidifier and so far, no static & no dry hurtful nose. I’m a happy camper, woooohoooo!!! I will never buy another house with gas heat, it’s the worst type of heat to have.
