How do I refer students to counseling and advice services?
Students should be referred in the first instance to student services. It may be reassuring and supportive to students if acacdemic staff make contact with student services on the students behalf when they feel a referral is needed – rather that just giving them the student services contact details. This way an initial meeting can be arranged and the specialist within student services who can deal with the student can be identified. For contact details visit the student services website.
