How do I remove a VHS tape from a VCR?

I’m assuming you tried to eject it, but it won’t for some reason. Normally, if it were just a VCR, you could try opening the case and see if you can manually unjam the cassette yourself. However since this is a TV/VCR combo, I wouldn’t recommend doing this. The capacitors inside a TV can store lethal amounts of electricity even after the TV has been unplugged for awhile. For this reason I don’t suggest opening the case. Unfortunately, the VCR mechanism is under the TV making it difficult, if not impossible, for you to access it without specialized tools, not to mention avoiding electrocution. If you really want the tape back and/or want to watch other movies on the TV/VCR, you’ll have to take the set into a repair shop. Also be sure to have them clean the VCR as well, to help prevent the VCR from eatting any more tapes.
