The severity of the burn will determine what you need to do, (IMO). If the burn isn’t too big you may be able to get a sharp edged chisel or knife blade, and gently scrape back and forth and perhaps remove the burnt area. Key is to gently scrape it with an extremely sharp edge. Then, use a sandpaper with about a 220 grit to smooth the area a bit more. Next, you could get one of the pencils used in woodworking that works light a marker to color the wood. Marks in several wood types are sold, i.e., oak, pine, mahogany, maple, etc. Since most wooden floors will darken with age, the color one the floor may be a bit daker than the shade of marker pen you get. However, you should be able to just add another coat once the previous one dries to get it to darken. If you can’t find any markers, you could get a small can of the same stain and use that.
