How do I REMOVE Security Toolbar 7.1 from my computer?????
This is a really nasty bit of malware that has extemely involved removal steps that must be completed by the user… and as always I know many sites offer a “tool” to run these for you but I advise you to either figure out how to perform the manual removal yourself or hire a tech or format the drive. The manual removal steps can be found here: http://www.pcontech.com/Security-Toolbar… That being said… if you do not follow this up and INVEST in a PROPER security SUITE (antivirus, firewall, antispyware, etc) from a RELIABLE vendor (like McAfee or Norton) and ensure it is properly configured and completely up to date.. and kept that way… you are doomed to repeat your situation. You MUST start using common sense and stop listening to people and downloading every single crapware you are referred to…
